Riva is located on the upper part of the lake of Garda. It is close to the Dolomitic ridge, to several lakes, mountain trails, picnic areas and rock claimbing places.
It is an historic city, known by the Romans, close to Venice, Verona and Mantua, cities which are possible to visit on a day tour.

Garda's lake is a well known surfing and sailing place as far as several other sports are praticable.
Gemma's residence is placed in Saint Thomas medieval village, sorrounded by orchards of fuit trees and two km from the lake.

The old place was builded in 1197 under the authority of red Beard's Imperator and completely renovated in 1982. All appartaments have their bath room, warm water, balcony, living room with complete kitchen. You will find room for bikes and surfs, privat park, a garden for your relax and the barbecue to enjoy your evenings.
